lets talk dogs..

Tonight, being Thursday, is the season premier for Grey's Anatomy-- yehh!  Jason has already left for our camping trip that I will be joining him for later this weekend.  One of our favorite things to do, is to visit LBL.  It's a beautiful area that we are so lucky to have near us to enjoy.  There are trails for bikes, horses, walking and wagons.  Jason and I enjoy wagon riding and horses, respectively.  Soooo, jenny and whitney came over for a little girl's night.  It's always good to have some one on one time with your good friends.

Will and I have thoroughly enjoyed each others company this afternoon just hanging out and playing all kinds of games.  The house literally looked like a tornado had come through.  We went on our regular mile walk. But with a stroller, 20 + lb baby, up & down hills, over gravel... makes the regular miler a good workout.  So now as I type this, he is sleeping peacefully in my arms.  A special time that I never get tired of.

Let's talk food:  I love my husband, I do, but it is so much easier fixing food for myself the way I want it to be. This morning I had a delicious strawberry banana smoothie!  Great way to start the morning.

Aced my 2 tests at school (I'm hopeful) and came home to have a mind release.  I had a leftover porkchop that Jason grilled last night with some white rice and veggies.  Broccoli is my fave!!  And then I splurged on cookies & cream ice cream.  So good! I am a firm believer that ice cream should be made into a food group ;)

Another one of my favorite things are my 2 dogs.  Ellie is my main girl.  I saved her when she was a few months old and she's been my right hand man ever since.  Ellie is nearly 6 now (in december).  She is a blue heeler or australian cattle dog.  And she lives up to every bit of her description and then some!  Ellie has always been very protective of me and then when I had Will, she is even more of a beast!  Just to strangers, which I don't mind.

And my next sweetie is Roxy.  She is about 1 1/2 years old.  I rescued her from one of the local shelters.  She was picked up as a tiny puppy one night, along a roadside, in the pouring rain.  Sad story, right?!  I have no idea what kind of dog she is.  Some kind of a terrier mix is my guess because she is a squirrel, mole hunter!  And quick!  She is speedy gonzales!  But the most important thing about Roxy is that she looooves my baby!  She has been infatuated with Will ever since his birth and to this day, sleeps with him in his bed.  Well that's all my kiddos!  Love them to pieces <3
