weekend recap

friday night, we had a wonderful turn out for an event my church has been planning.  my church, first christian church- paris, hosted the 2nd annual Wine to Water fundraiser.  This fundraiser generates money which we send to east african communities to help establish clean water systems.  Last year we hosted the even in the dead. middle. summer.  it was hot!  this year we opted for fall weather, which turned out great!  it is a great way to help out countries who are so less fortunate than us, it really makes me feel good to help out. 

early saturday morning, I dropped Will off at my mom's and headed out to LBL.  I took my 2 furry babies with me to meet up with jason.  we had a great day riding horses, riding in the wagons, and catchin up with a bunch of friends.  i sure did miss Will, but it was so nice to have a little grown up time, even if we did act like teenagers again!  but wow!  I got my workout in for the week it feels like.  I am sore in places I didn't know I could get sore from riding horses.  I guess that's how you know you had a great, looong ride.  PAIN!  but- Jason and I already have our next reservations to go back in just a couple of weeks.  We plan on taking the baby boy that time.  I really think he'll enjoy it.  Tonight, he and I sat outside swinging just watching the dogs, the squirrels and anything else that caught our eyes.  so I bet he will love being in the woods, on the trails.   another big week of work and school coming up.  I don't think there is too much going on.  I joined a site dedicated to helping new & experienced moms to take more creative? or better? pictures of their kids.  I LOVE taking will's pictures but I have to say, I lack heavily in the creative area so I hope to get some good tips from this seemingly great site.  Here's a fun picture that I took just to show that you do what you gotta do whenever you can do it....
