a little venting (!)

So no surprise to anyone who is married and a parent, but my husband and I have the DUMBEST arguments over the silliest things.  It is, however, getting to a point where we just don't really fight because we both know there is no need and its gonna be ok in the end anyways.  BUT I do think it's important to share housework.  And there will always be a good fight in me over that! 

Jason is a logger.  And by logger, I mean old timey, hands on work.  He works hard (!) and looong hours.  And to top it all off, he logs with draft mules-- old timer, right?! 

Can ya see their strain?

Anyhow, I've been to see him work.  I have personally seen him work and then come home exhausted.... but!  I do more than my share of hard work.  I work part time, go to school part time, have been doing ALL the chores at home, and making sure Will is where he is suppose to be with what he needs.  I go to the grocery, I do school work, and I make time to go see my [other] family members.  I am busy and I wear out easily. 

The point of this story... he has been off all week (getting ready for a camping trip this weekend, plus its been raining)  and still has done nothing.  So I blow up.  today.  at lunch.  And then he washes dishes and starts a load of laundry.  But my point was left out in {left} field.  Its not that I think he doesn't do anything all day, but that he doesn't realize that I don't just not do anything all day.  So a little help with the housework?  yes, please! 

I know my Jason is good and just because I am complaining about him now doesn't mean I always complain.  I just haven't been blogging long enough to write about the good things he does.  For instance, there is no words to describe the looks he & Will give each other when they play, or when he makes me coffee in the morning or brings me donuts at work.  Ok, enough of that.  Just figured I share that it does take 2 to tango but it also takes work & cooperation to do that same tango.
